ABOUT ME
My passion for holistic health comes from my own healing journey that led to an exploration of many different perspectives on healing. Beginning with Western psychology and eventually branching out into Buddhism and the 8 limbs of Yoga, I have gained insight both through my own experiences and listening to the experiences of others. I am a Certified Canadian Counsellor, a Designated Naturotherapist, and a certified meditation teacher. I identify as queer and I have experience living alternative lifestyles. I have been described as down-to-earth and silly, and I incorporate these aspects as a therapist. The values that lay the foundation for my practice are conscious awareness, authenticity, autonomy, and self-actualization. I consider meaning-making and living with intention to be the essence of general well-being and I recognize that it can take many unique forms. My goal is to help others through their own personal journey of healing and self-discovery.

Why do I go by B?
In case you were wondering, I go by B in both my personal and professional life. This was a conscious decision that reflects my spirituality and gender queerness, both of which are intertwined. As a genderqueer individual, I like B because it feels gender neutral. As a Buddhist, I practice relinquishing ideas associated with identity, one of which is gender categories. Sometimes people are confused about my name. Every time someone asks me to clarify my name I get to say one of my favourite mantras “just be”.
